ENVIRA-45 - Combat mould for less

The ENVIRA-45 is a next-generation ventilation fan, engineered to tackle mould and condensation in your home, without losing valuable heat.

What sets the ENVIRA-45 damp control unit apart is its advanced alternate flow heat recovery system.

First, it extracts stale, humid air from your room, capturing the heat before it escapes. Then, it reverses direction, drawing in fresh outdoor air and warming it with the stored heat.

This efficient two-minute cycle runs continuously, so your home is always ventilated with fresh, pre-warmed air.

The result? A reliable, energy-efficient ventilation system that protects against black mould, damp, and condensation—all while saving energy and recovering heat that would otherwise be wasted by traditional extractor fans.

Where can I install ENVIRA-45?

ENVIRA-45 is ideal for tackling damp, mould, and condensation in problem areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and utility rooms.

It’s especially effective in spaces like bathrooms where black mould prevention is essential, or in any room where poor airflow causes condensation or mildew.

With a boost airflow of 45 m³/hour, ENVIRA-45 is perfect for smaller rooms. For larger areas or whole-home ventilation, the ENVIRA-50 and ENVIRA-60 models provide higher airflows, up to 60 m³/hour, to suit bigger rooms.

By improving indoor air quality and regulating humidity, the ENVIRA range offers reliable solutions for condensation control and mould, delivering effective condensation control for landlords, homeowners, and housing associations.

Plus, ENVIRA units support compliance with modern damp and mould regulations, including Awaab’s Law—all without increasing energy costs.

How does ENVIRA-45 Work?

Unlike standard extractor fans that simply expel air, ENVIRA-45 features advanced alternate flow heat recovery technology, automatically switching direction every 70 seconds.

First, it extracts warm, damp air from the room. As this air passes through a high-efficiency ceramic core, the heat is captured and stored.

Next, the fan reverses, drawing in fresh outdoor air. Before this air enters your room, it’s gently warmed using the heat stored in the ceramic core.

This continuous, automated cycle keeps your home ventilated around the clock with higher levels of indoor air quality, without losing valuable warmth.

The result: effective condensation control, mould, and damp, along with significant savings on heating costs, thanks to energy-efficient ventilation.

EVIRA-45 Technical Specification

Fan Speed: Two ventilation modes — Low (trickle) and High (boost) — ideal for maintaining healthy airflow and providing damp control ventilation in areas affected by condensation or mould.

Airflow: Delivers up to 45 m³/hour (13 l/s) of air — suitable for smaller rooms that need higher levels of indoor air quality and better air exchange, to help prevent damp build-up and mould.

Heat Recovery: Up to 75% heat recovery efficiency. Helps retain warmth while ventilating spaces prone to humidity, reducing the risk of mould growth.

Noise level: Operates at just 21 dB from 3 metres — near-silent performance, even when running continuously.

Power Use: Extremely low energy use at just 2.4 watts — efficient and cost-effective for long-term use.

Efficiency: Consumes only 0.49 watts per litre of air moved per second, helping to keep energy bills low.

Compact Design & Easy Wall Installation

ENVIRA-45 is compact bathroom extractor with heat recovery and engineered for simple wall installation with minimal disruption.

Its streamlined design fits neatly into any external wall, making it ideal for both new builds and retrofit projects.

Installation is straightforward and designed to minimise structural work, while still delivering high-performance ventilation and effective mould prevention.

A 115 mm core drill is recommended to provide adequate clearance and ensure the required 3% downward slope for condensation drainage.

Remote Control: Landlord Lockdown or User Flexibility

EVIRA-45 adapts to its environment, offering tailored control for both landlords and homeowners.

In rented accommodation, landlords can lock settings to ensure continuous mould protection—ideal for social housing and compliance.

In private homes, users enjoy full control via the remote, with simple operation that allows you to adjust ventilation for comfort and energy savings as needed.

 Once installed, the remote allows:

Instant On/Off Quickly power the system on or off, with automatic return to your previous settings.

Manual selection Choose between low (trickle) or high (boost) airflow to suit your needs.

Automatic boost The bathroom extractor with heat recovery automatically increases speed when humidity rises above your set threshold.

Adjustable humidity Fine-tune the humidity threshold with the included tuning tool inside the fan.

Night Mode Dims LEDs and runs quietly for 8 hours before returning to standard operation.

For Professionals: Meet Regulations Without the Hassle

EVIRA--45 is purpose-built for professionals who need a straightforward, compliant solution for mould and damp—helping you meet regulations like Awaab’s Law with ease.

Whether you’re a landlord, housing officer, or installer, EVIRA-45 delivers effective, energy-efficient ventilation with minimal setup.

Commissioning options let you lock settings, preventing tenants from switching off the unit or changing critical airflow and humidity controls, ensuring consistent protection without user interference.

Ideal for social housing, refurbishment programmes, and any project needing reliable, long-term damp and mould control with a wall-mounted heat recovery unit.

For Homeowners: Fresh Air That Saves Heat and Stops Mould

If your home suffers from condensation, musty smells, or black mould, the ENVIRA-45 is a smart upgrade.

Discreetly fitting into your wall like a regular fan, EVIRA-45 works continuously to remove damp air and bring in fresh air—without losing warmth.

The advanced ceramic heat recovery core helps keep energy bills low while preventing black mould from returning, making it an ideal solution for any home.

With the remote control, you can easily switch between low and high speeds, activate night mode, or let the fan automatically respond to rising humidity.

Simple, reliable protection for your home—and your health.

Regulatory Compliance for Damp and Mould Control

The EVIRA-45 is designed to help landlords and homeowners meet key UK regulations for ventilation, damp, and mould control.

It supports compliance with Awaab’s Law, part of the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023, which legally requires landlords to address hazards like damp and mould within strict timeframes.

By providing consistent airflow and automatic humidity control, EVIRA-45 helps prevent mould build-up and keeps properties within legal requirements.

The system also aligns with Building Regulations Approved Document F, setting the standard for minimum ventilation and indoor air quality to prevent condensation.

Whether for new builds or retrofit projects, EVIRA-45 helps you meet these standards in kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-humidity areas.

Additionally, the system fits within PAS 2035 guidelines—the government-backed standard for energy-efficient home retrofits.
