The Ei450 Alarm Controller is designed for use with RadioLINK enabled Smoke, Heat and Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms

It will indicate if the source of alarm is smoke/heat or CO alarm

It increases the flexibility and user friendliness of the alarm system by allowing the user to remotely 'Test', 'Locate' and 'Silence' them:

• Test the alarm system
• Locate the source of the alarm
• Silence any nuisance alarms

Alarm Memory identifies units that have previously alarmed (useful for troubleshooting)

The Controller is powered by tamper-proof Lithium cells designed to last at least 10 years (the life of the product)

The Controller uses advanced radio transmitter technology with unique 'House Code' feature to ensure robust signal transmission

Operation

• If the alarm system is triggered, the relevant indicating light on the front cover will illuminate
• The Controller also has a memory function - the alarm that had previously triggered is held in the memory. Pressing the button on the front cover will cause the relevant indicating light to show, indicating if it was a Fire or CO alarm, and the actual alarm's that previously triggered will sound briefly.
• When House Coding to the alarms, an indicating light will flash blue on the front cover to indicate the number of alarms the Controller is coded with
• 'Test' Function Causes all alarms in the system to sound. It is equivalent to pressing the test button on each alarm
• 'Locate' Function Audibly identifies the alarm that has triggered by silencing all other alarms for approximately 10 minutes
• 'Silence' Function Silences any nuisance alarms for approximately 10 minutes
